Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt imposed an economic and diplomatic boycott on Qatar in June 2017 over allegations that Doha supports terrorism, a charge Qatar denies. Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani had received an invitation from Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud earlier this week to attend both the summit of Gulf Arab rulers and a wider meeting of Arab leaders.

Run out of prisoners to torture?

Not to an embassy I hope

Will he make it back alive?

New alliance to curb a common enemy, interesting move after such a hostile stance against Qatar in recent past .. History always repeats itself .

* a rare trip

Maybe Kushner can go and negotiate another deal to bail out his family.

Qatar is strongly aligned with Iran. Qatar banks launder Iran $$$ and oil. Now that Iran is going broke from sanctions, Qatar wants to make a deal with Saudi Arabia.

Trump to sidestep Congress to clear arms deals benefiting Saudi Arabia, UAEThe president is invoking seldom-used emergency authority to circumvent congressional roadblocks to 22 arms deals. How does he get away with this crap? Where are the checks and balances? Isn’t this official terrorist sponsorship when a bipartisan congress says no?! Great. This way they can use these weapons against us when the next administration tries to get everything back under control. I don't know when enough is going to be enough.

Trump administration may use Iran threat to sell bombs to Saudis without Congress' approval: senator'I am hearing that Trump may use an obscure loophole in the Arms Control Act and notice a major new sale of bombs to Saudi Arabia (the ones they drop in Yemen) in a way that would prevent Congress from objecting. In this case, they said the Republican president would cite rising tensions with Iran There is no reason to cooperate with Congress if all Congress does is insult him with the hoax over and over these are attacks coming from the left and they are anti-American Our stupid country has thousands of loopholes. the situation in Yemen is alarming
