A growing proportion of Americans blame President Donald Trump for a partial government shutdown that will cut off paychecks to federal workers this week, though Republicans mostly support his refusal to approve a budget without taxpayer dollars for the U.S.-Mexico border wall, according to a Reuters

Blame for shutdown of the government should be on both Trump and Republican Senate Majority leader, Mitch McConnell as he is now holding up the Senate vote. Democrats already voted to reopen the government in the House.

Obviously since out of his own mouth on national television he stated he would take responsibility for the shutdown. Unless his supporters want to claim that this is also fake news.
