School administrators, state and city leaders, all waver with each accumulation of changes in the COVID and Omicron picture, with the fatigue and hopelessness they face in administering and governing.

I started reading this, failed to finish. I don't believe the pandemic is the source of the frustration felt today. The despair I experience is reading the rhetoric from the far Right and where this nation might be 5 yrs from now. My expectation is that country splits apart.
