I've been making lists about *weird* American things for years, and here are the things I've discovered and realized Americans actually do better.Salads, especially big salads — like, people say Americans are unhealthy, but our salad culture is THRIVING.
We also have many great fast casual salad chains like Sweet Green and Just Salad.Supermarkets, pharmacies, McDonald's...you can basically get whatever you want, whenever you want. Even on Sundays.Our grocery stores have 72 brands of yogurt, 22 brands of milk, and 172 types of soda to choose from.Not to mention the cereal aisle.
The drive-thrus for everything just show we build our cities and towns for cars, and not people. That's not something we do better, it's a symptom of our unsustainable, polluting way of life.
