Were These Horror Movies Actually Scary?Do you like scary movies, Sidney? Anyone ever see The Fountain? I was terrified it would never end. The only truly scary movies to me are thrillers & suspenseful films like: TheShining SilenceOfTheLambs & AlfredHitchcock's Psycho (1960). Sorry, but BloodAndGuts / Gore does not a scary movie make. Too easy. Not to say a good horror film *cannot* have those elements... My issue with “scary” movies that 8/10 times the protagonists do something that irritates me to the point of switching teams.
