Byron Donnell Green was arrested after becoming involved in a road rage incident that injured two children in Mount Airy, North Carolina.Surry County officials say 41-year-old Byron Donnell Green of Mount Airy is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, discharging a weapon into an occupied property causing bodily injury and assault by pointing a gun. Bond for Green was set at $600,000.
Investigators say a 9-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl were shot Saturday afternoon after Green became involved in a road rage incident with their father in the Flat Rock community of Mount Airy. The children were driven to the hospital by their father. The boy was treated and released, and the girl was reported in stable condition after undergoing surgery.

Grand jury dismisses assault charge against Army sergeant in road rage caseSgt. 1st Class Kai Waters said she was terrorized, and bumped, by another driver, then stabbed the other driver when confronted at a gas station. The grand jury made the right call. The video clearly shows that the sergeant was not the aggressor and was only defending herself. She should have never been charged IMO I believe I read the Sgt was driving her BMW. I can only imagine what the other woman was driving, but I'd bet it was some beat up car that screamed: 'I've done nothing with my life so my life sucks'! Envy and racism combined = crazy actions. Glad they dropped the charges. These are the same 'grand jury' folks who happily indicted anyone RobertMueller wanted against the president.
