Fifteen people were injured after a Sound Transit bus crashed into a building Saturday evening at 5th Avenue and Terrace Street in Seattle.

The Seattle Fire Department received a report that a bus hit a building at 5th Avenue and Terrace Street in Seattle just before 7 p.m.

All of the passengers were able to exit the bus without assistance before the firefighters arrived on the scene. No fatalities occurred in the accident, as of this reporting, but 11 people were transported to local hospitals.The Seattle Police Department believes the cause of the crash was due to faulty brakes on the bus. An investigation is currently underway.
