Residents had to choose between voting or protecting their health – proving Wisconsin has turned into a vanguard of the Republican assault on democracy

Should I vote or should I protect my health? That was the stark choice that Wisconsin voters faced on Tuesday – thanks to their elected state representatives. Like much of the rest of the nation, Wisconsin is under a statewide stay-at-home order. The order is designed to slow the spread of a disease that has already sickened nearly half a million Americans and taken the lives of 13,000.

Exactly what the Republican party has devolved into. Anything and everything to suppress voters. It's the only way they can continue their vile attack on our democracy.

This was done to stop African Americans from voting. Most live in Milwaukee, a majority-minority city and the city went from 180 polling places to FIVE. Turnout was 10% of what it was in 2018! Many people did not get the absentee ballots they requested! WisconsinPrimary

Why bother? Dems being paranoid again.

The world sees you, wisgop.

I didn’t know this virus only targets Democrats

the gop is the party of shame.

More than 16 million over 3 weeks. My opponent Jim Jordan voted *against* stronger unemployment benefits/food security during this pandemic. I want him to look every single one of these 16 million people in the eye and explain why. It wouldn't take much to push a system as fragile as the American work force onto its side. This crisis is showing how brittle everything (on this side of the Atlantic) really is. Looks like another New Deal is required. Trump is Herbert Hoover but who is Roosevelt?
