West Yorkshire Police are investigating after an elderly woman was hit by a silver Skoda Octavia in Moorland Drive yesterday. It happened at 3.40pm as the driver turned onto the road from Harrogate Road.
The woman, who is in her 90s, was hit by the car and has suffered serious, life-threatening head injuries. She is currently in hospital fighting for her life.Now, police are urging any witnesses or people with video footage to get in touch urgently. In a statement, a force spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision in Leeds yesterday afternoon in which an elderly pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries.
"The pedestrian, aged in her 90s, suffered serious head injuries and was taken to hospital where her condition is described as life threatening."
