Scotland, on the other hand, is expected to stay 'largely dry' over the course of the weekend - which is good news if you've got any exciting bank holiday plans. Met Office meteorologist Alex Deakin spoke in more detail about the weekend weather forecast, explaining that early on Saturday May 4, Scots could see some cloud cover and the occasional spell of light rain, particularly in the south.
And Monday's forecast, although uncertain still, shows temperatures in the mid to high teens throughout Scotland - so not as warm as we've seen this week but still pleasant enough for spring.
