Thank you! Finally saying the quiet part out loud-- that the industry isn't being listened to because a bunch of middle-aged men think it's frivolous. It's not. It's £14b in the UK, independent businesses, and celebrations of what most important in life- family friends and love.

JessieSorores MattRudd - oh, and this one! whataboutweddings

It’s been on its knees since 23/3. Destroyed my business this year!

It's worth noting that all wedding suppliers have put in extra hours this year for free to help brides and grooms postpone - so it's not possible to do something else. Then we've had insurance companies coming after us trying to claim money back that has already been earnt.

cannot say I see this 'industry ' as a priority over peoples lives.

It includes live entertainment, without live music all our lives will change. When we watch a film or tv, listen to music, see a show. If musicians and performers can’t work there will be no new anything, just the same old, same old. Ground Hog Day

Basic choice: your wedding dress or your life.
