Exclusive: Ministers facing legal action after asylum seekers served notice to leave accommodation in cities with local coronavirus restrictions in place – despite Home Office saying they would not be evicted

The Home Office announced in March that asylum seekers would not be asked to leave their accommodation once their claim or appeal had been decided as a protective measure in response to the pandemic., saying that people with negative decisions would be served eviction notices “with immediate effect”. However, the Home Office’s criteria for selecting which local council areas would be subject to evictions states that action will not take place in local authorities subject to regional lockdowns.

When will the Home Office get that it can't be above the law/rules. Learn to do things with due diligence and you wouldn't have all this back and forth. No Pity Patel is like a Storm Trooper being led by Darth Vader.

The conclusion drawn is that those with negative decisions have no reason not to return to their own country.

We already know this govt is happy to break the law, including those it gas made itself. They are also openly hostile towards asylum seekers. Yet we are supposed to be a civilised country 🙄

The coronavirus is Mongolian biological weapon! If don't believe it, they may slowly end killing humanity!
