As we've been reporting, Supreme Court judges have ruled the Scottish government cannot hold another independence referendum without the UK government's consent.said it was right for the Scottish government to seek legal clarity on the issue, but added that"the Supreme Court's answer was clear".:"We must now focus on the problems facing our country, from rising bills to the crisis in our NHS.
"There is not a majority in Scotland for a referendum or independence, neither is there a majority for the status quo.", said:"This was a clear and unequivocal verdict delivered by the highest court in the country" and he said the Scottish National government and their supporters must respect it.:"The Scottish people have made it clear in poll after poll that they don't want another referendum next year.
"It is time the SNP Government finally focus on what really matters. What Scotland needs now is new hope not old divisions," hesaid his pro-independence party respects the decision of the court"but it does nothing to alter the principle that Scotland’s future must be determined by the people of Scotland".
“There is a clear and democratic mandate for a second referendum that grows every day as the devastation of a Brexit that was overwhelmingly rejected by Scotland escalates."
It's the perfect position for Nicola Sturgeon to be in, fighting the good fight. I seriously doubt she actually wants Scottish independence, just the idea of it. Means the people are more controllable.
Get some proper work done!

Majority of Scots voted to remain in the UK in a democratic vote put to the people on a single question. Just because a party in Scotland has more representatives in the administration due to local issues and a manifesto doesn't mean a majority want independence.
Democracy? They voted NO!
Democracy spoke in 2014 you xenophobic little loon
She should resign!! Scotland are fed up with the SNP mob
