Judges on the UK Supreme Court will deliver their verdict on whether the Scottish Parliament can hold a second independence referendum without prior approval from the UK Government.

The Supreme Court judges could announce they cannot at this stage make a ruling either way - a decision that would frustrate both sides of the Scottish independence debate. A ruling in her favour would allow the Bill to be put through Holyrood to allow a vote to take place in October next year.
