Warning over four new diving laws which came into force this month

An alert has been issued to all motorists about for new driving laws which came into place this month.

Changes, which began from Saturday , could see motorists up and down the country hit with hefty fines if ignored. And not knowing about them will not be an acceptable excuse.Major rule changes will be felt in three Scottish cities where petrol and diesel drivers will be affected by the introduction of Low Emission Zones . These zones, which will operate continuously, will utilise Automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras linked to local and national vehicle licensing databases.

In other developments, local authorities currently conducting e-scooter trials can now request modifications to the trial area and fleet size. Any approved changes will take effect from today, reports Birmingham Live.Dundee has become the second city in Scotland to implement a low emission zone , prohibiting certain vehicles from its city centre.
