A CHARITY volunteer was left in tears after her neighbours sent a furious note demanding she "shut up" her sick dog.
"As your neighbours we will now be reporting this as a noise issue to Blackpool Council. If not, it will be reported to the RSPCA.The full-time carer from Blackpool, Lancs, feared Jack Russell Terrier Max, who she leaves for just four minutes a day during the school run, could be taken away if the "gammons and Karens" who wrote it follow through with their threats.
"The only way to shut him up is [put him down] and I'm not going down that route. I don't know exactly what they want me to do. Tape his mouth shut?"It really, really upset me and I had a bit of a cry about it."
Charity begins at home!
Don't understand why you think the fact that she, like hundreds of others, working as a volunteer should make any difference. Sensationalism again
I have been in the same position as your neighbours, listening to a dog bark incessantly for hours, while the owner was at work. Sorry, but I am on the side of your neighbours, as the barking penetrats the skull. Sorry.
Its not great living next to a barking dog.
Wait until you see my neighbours dog,if that dog comes out by mistake alot of people will end up in the hospital.
Why mention she is a Volunteer...she has a yapping dog
Neighbours come in all shapes and sizes, unfortunately. Have you tried leaving the radio/TV on (after closing the windows, of course!)
Maybe she needs to make sure her dogs ok and not barking all day
