Post-partum hair loss is a real thing. Kate Hudson, Jacqueline Jossa and Giovanna Fletcher have admitted to experiencing thinner hair after having children, so if you've suffered with it, you're not alone. Model and DJ Vogue Williams, who gave birth to her son Theodore with husband Spencer Matthews last year, took to Instagram this week to reveal she too has had to deal with thinning hair, revealing a clever way to cover it up.
Hair loss usually happens because of hormonal changes in a woman's body during pregnancy. The hair cycle stops, meaning you don't lose any hair during the nine months of pregnancy, but all the hair you should have shed falls out when the baby is born. Fortunately the hair tends to grow back after three to four months, which is what happened to actress Jacqueline Jossa.
Vogue gave birth to Theodore last September, after tying the knot to Made in Chelsea star Spencer in June. The pair have recently revealed they'll be returning to TV with season 2 of their reality TV show Spencer and Vogue, which sees the pair navigating new parenthood.
