Verstappen: I should be allowed to criticise Red Bull for mistakes

Verstappen made his frustration clear after a miscalculation by the team saw him need to abort his final lap in Q3 because he didn’t have enough fuel to complete it and then get back to the pits with the required amount for an FIA sample still in the tank.

“I know, but I like the critical approach,” he said. “Because when I fuck up, they can also tell me that you know, I make a mistake. And I think it should be the other way around as well. “I think we got to little bit surprised that of course, we had that extra lap,” he said. “But you can track that you see that coming. That's why I don't really understand how that was missed.

“So yeah, incredibly frustrating, because I think we had a good car. And I think you could see that already to Q3 that on mistakes. The car was really good. The conditions are tricky, but I like that. The car was also working quite well.”

I don't think there's one person in that team that speaks to max the way he speaks to them..

Red bull never make mistakes of course he’s gonna be angry especially when he could win the championship this weekend, every driver has the right to be angry over decisions

All drivers get frustrated and lash out, they are human - it’s just a shame that when specific drivers do it (Lewis / Yuki) they are met with disdain and other driver such as Max are allowed vent their anger without being dragged through the mud

Hey, that would be fine. You want to criticise the team, do it. Just telling that certain drivers get excused for outbursts but others get slaughtered for much less.

'We win as a team we lose as a team' would be better attitude and better for the team spirit in the long term IMO

he did f*ck up the earlier lap which should have been the last lap he was suppose to go for so karen should have blamed him afterall
