Anne McNeillie was last seen in Ayr at around 7.30am on Sunday, with concerns growing for her wellbeing.

An urgent search has been launched for a woman who vanished from Ayr this morning. Anne McNeillie disappeared from Bellesleyhill Avenue at around 7.30am, June 16.

Officers in Ayr have been checking CCTV footage as part of their "extensive enquiries" in the area but have so far been unable to track Anne down. Sergeant Terry McEwan said: "It is very unlike Anne to go off and not be in touch with her family. They are extremely concerned and just want her home safe and well.
