Karen Smart was seen behind the wheel of her £25,000 Mercedes convertible near her £1.2million five-bedroom home in Berskshire after quitting her role.
The 55-year-old stepped down on Tuesday after staff shortages at Manchester Airport led to queues at security and check-in lasting as long as seven hours. Passengers were stuck in confined areas for hours, causing some to vomit. Baggage reclaim has also been stuck with delays after disgruntled passengers gave up on the lengthy waiting times and abandoned their luggage to go home.
