The UK Foreign Office has updated its travel advice for the holiday destination

Tourists planning a trip to Turkey should know that the UK Foreign Office has updated the country's travel advice.

Mount Ararat, in Ağrı province, is a special military zone, and access permission must be obtained from the Doğubayazıt Government Office, along with payment of a fee in the local Governor’s Office, Wales Online reports.Download If you are visiting with a travel agent or a tour group, you should confirm with them whether you would require an individual permit. Travellers are being advised to keep up to date with local media and follow the advice of the local authorities.
