The election of 1910, won by the Liberals, marked a victory of "the People" over "the Peers" and heralded full democracy.

This election means that Brexit has poisoned democracy. Happy? It is not a General Election, it is merely open season for NHS Brexit bribes. It won't resolve Brexit or improve the NHS - or any other aspect of British society. Look up the word 'general' in the dictionary.

We're not. We never were. We've been deceived for decades.

We're absolutely not a true democracy. A free press would be required for that. Instead papers including the Telegraph are owned by a small group of billionaires who relentlessly push their right-wing agenda on the public. The BBC is little better having become Tory-controlled.
