The Witcher: Blood Origin

. If the show was good, you’d likely find similarities between the two franchises. Regrettably, that’s not the case. Narratively, Blood Origin is all over the place. Its opening episode is overstuffed with all-too-brief character introductions, location hopping, major plot twists, and expository content that would’ve achieved far more if it was spread across two of its kind.A show of this ilk needs time to bed in its characters, setting, and main story threads before it gets to the good stuff – namely, the fun-filled, violent action sequences , and some politically charged and emotionally dramatic moments.

There is no monolits in the novels so the explanation won't satisfy fans. It is a poor fanfic, and a bungled attempt to create buzz. Cancellation is incoming for the Witcher franchise. Maybe next time Netflix will try to adapt instead of making up its own shitty story.

Well, yeah! She gave me plenty of reasons to not believe her. 'I haven't but the writers room is a safe space' Ok, so she didn't herself, but her team did and she didn't care. A showrunner who appreciated the material would have fired them on the spot probably tbth Pfft if Lauren was being honest then Henry Cavill wouldn't have left.

Netflix's The Witcher showrunner disputes claims the show's writers 'mocked the books'The Witcher showrunner Lauren Hissrich has responded to The Witcher fans and insisted she has 'never mocked the books' … Is it the same writers netflix uses for every adaptation? They have the worst track record. The Witcher is the only one that barely saves itself only because of the passion Henry Cavill has for the franchise and the amazing work on writing a song that went viral effortlessly. Yeah, i call back pedaling... Sounds like damage control. If they really loved the material then they should have followed the books
