Why would anybody in their right mind want to watch this film? Real life event was so horrific that it's imprinted on my brain for life. I don't ever want to have those memories reinforced or added to. James Bulger's Mother should have been respected & this film not be made.

Only one word for this disgusting. I’m boycotting the oscars this year.

My heart goes to Denise and Ralph Bulger.

To bring back all the pain of that fateful day for that family is beyond belief. So many other ways to make money that don't hinge on the murder of someone's child.

Why do 'trendy' filmmakers have to think it clever to intrude on personal tradegy and grief in their pursuit of freedom of their art? Clearly the US Oscar selectors are unaware of the history of this heinous crime.

Don't care. Won't be watching it..the names of those murrderers should disappear.

It doesn't matter if it was produced well or not, it matters that these vile people will make money from a film without the permission or consent from the victims mother.

I understand her not wanting to see this but she can just ignore it. I agree that she should have been informed about its making, however i gather this is more about the psychology of the killers and not focused on the victim (im guessing)

My heart goes to Denise! 💔💔 I keep imagining the scene where the boys were escorting James to his imminent brutal death, and I can’t breathe! Why would anyone recreate that!! The film obviously doesn’t make people understand why it happened!

It is not a film I want to see but its historical fact so it has relevance to explore. Funny its just one Parent who complains, wonder why that is?. All forgotten in few weeks.

What is it with the BBC and their promotion and protection (Savile) of child predators? This film is vile and those who earn from it are taking blood money.

This film did not need to be made. James’ poor mum wants it pulled, it should be pulled. As a mother of a 3 year old boy, my heart breaks for her and her family. What a crass and insensitive man the director is. Karma will get him.

Both families of the killers have got of scot free in the media and life since! unlike all the families and people concerned with poor little James! They really need to name all concerned and tell the truth about what those vile kids actually did to him!
