The Steam Summer Sale runs until July 7.

If you've been a Steam user for any length of time, you'll likely know that an actual, official trailer from Valve promoting the event is extremely unusual—unprecedented, even.

Yet the video above isn't the only one to roll out of Steam HQ to mark this year's virtual bazaar of bargoons. There's also a handy tutorial that explains Steam trading cards in detail: How they work, what they do, and why they might be worth your time to play around with.Valve promised that no"sellable functioning hardware" was damaged during the making of the video, if you're concerned about such things.

Valve developer urges players not to mod Steam Deck to use larger M.2 drives | VGCA Valve developer has warned against players using a new mod which allows them to expand their Steam Deck’s storage capacity with large M.2 drives. 'Because we can't charge you more for storage if you do this yourself'. i'll buy the 512 version and buy a 1tb sd card. For obvious reasons. These modders are not interested in giving gamers more space. They just want the glory of being the first to do it and telling ppl to try it themselves and views they get for it. They don't care if you break your console. It's all about the fame.

ESA is finally updating Mars Express Windows 98-based softwareIt's been chugging along on 20-year-old software, so this is a much appreciated upgrade. Why is it using garbage like. Windows? If it's working why change it? Honestly, I've used old OSs during my time at university and such as well. Some software for old equipment just qon't run on new Windows versions, but the equipment is still totally fine to use, so they rather use an old OS than buying new equipment, cause that stuff is expensive
