Of course there should be a points based system. All developed countries have them. We have enough benefits scroungers... we stop their benefits and send them to pick cabbages. It's not hard.

Simply astounding (and very disappointing) how the Guardian has become a cheerleader for neoliberalism, as this article so amply demonstrates. Countries should, for the most part, focus on employing & investing in the development of their own people.
