Our review of Dracula.

Few dead horses have been more flogged, but if you stretch your mind back enough, it is possible to remember a series with a fantastic premise that kept us guessing for 12 whole episodes. The question: had returning war hero Sgt Brody been radicalised in a foreign jail cell? CIA officer Carrie Mathison thought so, but she had plenty of problems of her own. I still think it would have been better if he'd detonated at the denouement. Twisty, compelling, briefly essential.

A load of rubbish reliant on X Box zombies and special effects. The script is laughable at times and not always deliberately so. Watch the lakeside scene in Jack Clayton's 1961 The Innocents for an idea of how to scare people.

Dracula was a decent watch until the last 20 minutes. We find out the smart/funny nun is a female van helsing. No issues, until she shouts out that he should be scared of a highly educated woman with a cross 🤪

From you're discription of Stokers original story, it's obvious you have never read it.

And I'm sure it is utterly politically correct

It was absolute rubbish.

I almost bought a licence it's that good

Brilliant. Loving it.
