The teen was walking along Sauchiehall Street, near to its junction with Hope Street, in the city centre, when he was set upon by the gang understood to be aged around 18 to 20 years old.

A teenager was attacked by a gang of men and women during the early hours on Sunday, May 5, and was left needing hospital treatment.

He was attacked at around 2.30am and left needing treatment at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
