NEU boss Mary Bousted told an online meeting with councillors that current guidance was “unworkable”.But ex-Education Secretary Justine Greening said: “Children have already lost far too many days of education. The NEU needs to focus on finding solutions, not problems.” A National Education Union checklist suggests teachers should “escalate” action if schools fail to satisfy them about 200 “safety” conditions.

Take education back to the basics for now, with minimal equipment ie pen & paper....Utilise unused buildings, libraries, civic centres, scout huts etc...Teachers don’t work, don’t get paid as in breach of contract, after a set period of time job lost, no reference...Their choice
So many teachers leaving their unions as a result
If u don’t wanna teach then u don’t get paid the government has said it’s safe so it’s up to u you just been on full pay for 6 months get on with ya life my kids school will have full staff back in September fair play to them

They are not demands , in this country it’s called health and safety . The government are responsible for this , by not shutting down , (following the science )
