This is the moment a group of students fought back against an armed robber who tried to steal their car – and won.
Brothers Jacob and Alex Tanooes, and their cousins Aric and Alec Wisbey had stopped to get gas in Oakland Park, Florida on March 24 when they were approached by the robber, who was brandishing a silver gun, and told them ‘Give me all you got.’ But instead of complying, the friends, from Terre Haute in Indiana, grabbed the man and tackled him to the ground, totally overpowering him.They subdued the robber so successfully that his accomplice, identified by sheriff’s deputies as Kevin Campbell, had to get out of a waiting car and come help him, before both criminals sped off.
