But, of course, red meat is on the menu daily at the Delegate Dining Room at the UN. Until the delegates all go vegan I'm going to enjoy a good steak every now and then. Besides, bovine carbon capture and storage seems to be catching on :-)
Re think farming meat, instead of limiting and taxing it, use the cattle to re green the deserts that are expanding, bigger herds that are moved around the effected area so the urine and feces get trampled into the soil. It's been proven to work and beef would be cheaper.
But, of course, red meat is on the menu at the Delegate luncheon everyday at the UN. When the catering at the UN is vegan-only, only then can the UN try to tell the little people what to do.
Tax all you like, I will still eat meat. Steak for dinner tonight in fact.
