When’s the last time you heard a man being described as shrill? Or how about high-maintenance? More than likely never

. Every day, we're surrounded by words with derogatory connotations - and while it’s easier to recognise and call out the more obvious sexist remarks bandied about , it’s actually the subtle slights, slipped in by co-workers or Tinder dates that can cut deepest of all. Hater gonna hate.

Anna Clarke you’re in no position to be telling me what words I should and shouldn’t be using! On your bike!

How abot mansplaing or toxic masculinity

I choose my own words

Mg husband is immensely high maintenance. Luckily he also scores highly on the 'hot' axis of the hot/crazy scale. equality

Donald Trump? Chuck Schumer? Plenty of negative stereotypes for men. Just look across the political aisle and you'll find it.

I heard about a boy being called a tubby ginger cunt so... it happens right Ricky

I know a few guys like that... 😋

I've heard all those words said about Owen Jones on a daily basis.

I have been called high maintenance! .. by my wife!! 😂😂😂

What silly bint wrote this? 😂

Most men don't have high-pitched voices so by definition they wouldn't be shrill.

I wonder why?

'Crazy' sexist ?

Maybe because it doesn't apply? When was the last time you heard a cat described as finicky?

It will not be true to say that there are no derogatory terms for men, there are just as many if not more than what they are for women.
