Detectives investigating the racist murder of Stephen Lawrence have said that all"identified lines of inquiry have been completed" and it has moved to an"inactive phase".Gary Dobson and David Norris were convicted of his murder in 2012.

Aren’t four of original suspects behind bars ? Think it’s only Luke Knight that is not in jail. Would like to see a conviction for the Jill Dando case, although it was very late at least 2 of the 5 original suspects were convicted.

A white cop called Clive Driscoll was heavily involved in bringing 2 of the stephenlawrence killers to justice. There just wasn’t enough evidence against the rest of the suspects.
Angry & pissed off. There is suggestion on social media that the Met have done this as 'punishment' for the justifiable racism criticism of Met officers. Investigation into the racist killing of Stephen Lawrence should remain open forever as a reminder of the evil that is racism.
