The shadow Brexit secretary, Keir Starmer, has said he is disappointed Labour members rejected efforts to make the party one that formally backs remain and has “mixed feelings” on Jeremy Corbyn staying neutral on the issue.

I had a one to one conversation with Sir Starmer when I told him I believe in another vote,even though for a long time I had thought it unfair after the 1st referendum, since parliament was getting nowhere. He agreed with me saying it should be confirmatory
But at least he's not knifing Corbyn in the back over it.

I don't know why people are so outraged about Labour's Brexit position, it's not as if Labour Remain MPs are going to be shy in coming out for Remain is it.
