Stacey Solomon 'can't get my head around' financial support for Royal family

Stacey Solomon has addressed comments she made about the Royal Family after clips resurfaced online following the death of the Queen.

Stacey said: "I have nothing against the monarchy and the Queen seemed like a lovely lady, but I don't understand why we pay a contribution to one of the wealthiest families in the world." During the original debate on Loose Women, a clip of which was shared on TikTok, Stacey said: "'I don't get why we're so obsessed with these humans that are exactly the same," after the conversation had centred on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Jane added: "For me, they're becoming celebrities," as Stacey quickly replied: "That's all they are." "But I'm with you. After the Queen, I'd have them all on bicycles and living in a terraced house. But I love the Queen, I think she's fantastic," she added.
