The government has rejected the idea of giving automatic payments to Covid sufferers to encourage them to self-isolate. But what other financial options are there, if not this, for minister to encourage adherence to the rules? Ben Chu investigates

Have you ever heard of this so much CRAP in your life, give £500 to anyone testing negative as it may mean they’ve been following the rules. Giving £500 to those testing positive may encourage some muppets to try and get infected just to get £500.

No. They still won't isolate, but they will be 500 better off.

Yes. Even if you isolate you should. Id loose half my wages to isolate but because I'm on NLW and my partner is a school TA on 12.5 a year we earn to much. But in reality it crucifies us because we earn to much. Low paid should be redefined as 37.5hrs a week on minimum wage.
