Scottish comedian Daniel Sloss has spoken out as Russell Brand is accused of accounts of rape, sexual assaults and emotional abuse during a seven-year period, claims which he has denied.

It has been alleged that female comedians within the industry set up a WhatsApp group with warnings about Russell Brand.According to a joint investigation by Channel 4 Dispatches, The Sunday Times and The Times the actor has been accused by four women of assaults and attacks across a seven-year period between 2006 and 2013.

As the allegations emerged, it was reported that female comedians set up a group chat to warn about predatory behaviour. "I know for many, many years that women have been warning each other about Russell," he told The Times as part of the investigations.
