An RTE documentary on the killing of a Co Derry GAA club chairman has led to renewed calls for public inquiry into his death.
Fellow Mid Ulster MLA Emma Sheerin said the "powerful" television programme "was a stark reminder of the role the state had to play" in the killing. Aspects of the laws include a limited form of immunity from prosecution for Troubles-related offences for those who co-operate with the Independent Commission for Reconciliation and Information Recovery .
Sinn Fein's Emma Sheerin said: "Sean Brown’s family have campaigned with dignity and determination for years for the truth of what happened to Sean.
