Asthma and Lung UK is urging people with lung conditions to take precautions this weekend as the Met Office predicts high pollen levels across most of England and Wales from Friday, with medium levels in other parts of the UK.

People with asthma could be at risk of life-threatening attacks this weekend due to rising pollen levels, a charity has warned.

Asthma and Lung UK said more than three million people in the UK have lung conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and are at risk of attacks or flare-ups when the pollen count is high. The charity has urged people to use their preventer inhalers and to keep their reliever inhalers with them at all times, with the Met Office predicting high levels of pollen across England and Wales from Friday and medium levels in other parts of the UK.See Sky Weather for the latest forecasts across the UKPollen can trigger symptoms such as tight chest, wheezing and breathlessness in 59% of people living with asthma and 25% of those living with COPD, according to research by the charity.

Allergies can cause airways to tighten up and build-up up sticky mucus, making it harder for people to breathe.

UK armed forces lack 'battle-winning capabilities' and are 'complacent' about costs, says stinging assessmentA committee of MPs has complained the MoD has allowed 'very little money' for next-generation systems to be 'battle-winning,' and highlighted delays in new fighter jet radars - but an MoD source had a strong rebuttal. While the British armed forces lack the 'ability to win battles,' the British government is keen to meddle in hot-spot world affairs, thinking it is still the empire on which the sun never sets. From Whom do ,you now report that the British lack ability . Too whom this may concern do not (better still) under estimate the fighting and profound spirit of the proven . PS if the call too (Arms ) is bugled and indeed they would tear up their roadways and hurtle the stones 👀 Will SKY News be sending a rep. to the 5/17 open door congressional hearings? Or just ignore / mock it? This changes the paradigm of mankind's existence. Might be a bit newsworthy
