The actor came clean about teaming up with the three creators of Dananagram in an interview alongside one of the writers on‘I’ve joined up with them, there’s three of them, and we’re enjoying what we’re doing,’ the formerIt turns out Paul only found himself getting involved with the page when Blue star Lee Ryan wanted a post to be taken down due to its reference to drug use.
And after that, the team decided it would be best to run each post past Paul first before sharing it with their 73,000 followers.‘We run everything past Paul. After the Lee Ryan incident we run the posts past Paul and he’ll give it the thumbs up or the thumbs down,’ Jack explained.Explaining his editorial overview, Paul said: ‘The one thing I said is don’t be horrible to anyone, just be kind but be funny.
Paul also revealed another reason why he felt the need to get involved with the project as he added: ‘It’s my name, I could close it down at any second. It’s my name. It’s my brand.’ While Jack explained what the trio had chosen to name the parody account after the famous actor, as he stated: ‘There was no one else it could have been, really.’
