Padiham church fire LIVE updates as six fire crews rush to scene

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said six crews and an aerial ladder platform were called to the building on St John's Road shortly after 8am this morning . They are currently wearing breathing apparatus and are using three hose reels to extinguish the fire.

People are being told to 'avoid the area' as crews remain in attendance.
