A BLIND African student was allegedly dragged by his ankles and forcibly removed from a debate organised by the prestigious Oxford Union.
When he returned for the start of the debate - on the motion 'This House has no confidence in HM Government' - he was refused entry. McGrath claimed "[his] behaviour during the evening could taint the Society's reputation in the eyes of non-members who were attending under the 'open period' scheme and damage the overall membership drive."Azamati claimed he was acting in self-defence and his treatment has led to angry protests organised by the Oxford University Africa Society.
