The Crown Prosecution Service is dodging difficult cases in an effort to inflate conviction rates. This helps prosecutors, not victims

While rape claims rose by 173 per cent in five years, the number of charges dropped by half, to the lowest figure on record.

Brenda_Campbe11 Our justice system is broken and failing just about everybody at the moment; victim and defendants alike. Guilty walk free and innocents convicted. The only winners are the huge multi-national companies that the CJS is being sold off to, and who pay their taxes overseas.
