Usyk’s promoter Alex Krassyuk has revealed to talkSPORT.com that Usyk himself attempted to buy the TV rights from the Saudi organisers so that he could then put in on free TV in his homeland. Upon hearing this, the Saudis refused to accept any payment from him and instead informed him that they would gift him the rights free of charge to allow him to do this.“He makes it free to watch via Megogo [streaming service], his YouTube channel and via state public TV ‘Suspilne’.”
The Oleksandr Usyk vs Anthony Joshua rematch will be live and free on talkSPORT in the UK, August 20.
