Brits have been urged not to take part in a growing civil disobedience campaign over the rise of energy bills.
In an interview with BBC Radio 4’s Today programme, Ofgem’s CEO Jonathan Brearley warned this could hike up costs for everyone.‘But absolutely I would not encourage anyone to join a campaign like this for two reasons. It has previously been reported that Mr Brearley earned ‘more than £300,000 in pay and perks’ and picked up a £15,000 bonus in 2020.

It's not a choice for many people. If they don't have money, or don't have access to more, how can they pay it? Wages don't increase in line with bills unless you studied at Eton or Harrow unfortunately!
