I would kill for my stomach to be that 'fat'

Why choose this image to highlight the problem of obesity? It worries me greatly that any impressionable child/ teen will see this and have a distorted image of obesity. Really irresponsible telegraph.

You can get stuffed. I`m not staying in

Way to go with the body shaming. Sure this will help the mental health of the already delicate British nation

Dom has already flogged this data to the yanks...

That is not a photo of an obese person. Report facts ! That’s a spare tyre that could be got rid of easily, also this lady could have recently given birth creating a bit of tummy. I expected better from an intelligent paper? I’ve Stopped following now🤦🏼‍♀️

What about the Prime Minister?

major_may_co_uk Trouble is s that the people spreading it will still going out to the pubs not social distenceing or doing the same at beaches. Plus even in shop and supermarkets people are now ignoreIng 2mtr rule.

That’s about 30% of the country 🤔

Excellent idea! More room for the rest of us.

Fat lives matter

Jeez. Always reporting somebody being told what to do in the name of Covud. Over 50s last week. Is this another case of govt suggesting idea to check out push back? What happened to leadership instead of focus groups twitter and opinion polls?

The streets would be empty. Marvellous.

So they can binge watch Netflix whilst binge eating pizza... or will they be forced to do a thebodycoach session?

If that stock photo is what obese looks likes, than I’m in trouble

To all fatties out the get back to work stop eating pies and exercise

Jeez. Always reporting somebody being told what to do in the name od Covud. Over 50s last week. Is this another case of govt sugfesting idea to check out push back? What happened to leadership instead of focus groups twitter and opinion polls?

Insanity

Most politicians and House of Lords must stay home then. Even Boris.

And the old? It’s time the people in danger of dying of the virus, sick (obese) and old, will have to look after themselves, because the rest isn’t going to protect them. Tell the truth.

why have you used a pic of someone clearly not obese, just a normal, healthy weight? The harm that pic with that headline could do to so many with anxiety around their weight or eating disorders... probably best to change it ASAP.

Which home would that be for cry:bully BorisJohnson

Anyone selling a used home liposuction kit?

Is there a cartoon yet about Speak Your Weight Machines being installed on street corners?

So basically, a subset of people are required to stay at home to reduce spread. Age was suggested but seen to be discriminatory. They can't do gender or race. So what's an acceptable form of discrimination? I now understand the anti-obesity push in the last 2 weeks. propaganda .

Somewhere, Dominic Cummings is watching and waiting to see if this idea should go on his 'Yes, let's do it' or 'No, f$$king stupid idea' list.

So deprive them of more exercise ffs..

If that person in the photo is “obese” then so am I...?!)!?!

Totally inconsiderate headline.Stop the stigmatisation of Metabolic disorder syndrome. Who can bet their head that they know what NewSARS is?

Out Bloody Rageous

If that's 👆 obese the it's full lockdown again. 🥴

Yeah I think that ain’t happening!! Keep stoking the bullshit out and see where this really ends !

Banana Republic 2.0.

What happened to personal responsibility?

It’ll take guts to make that law

What😂😂😂😂😂

That'll be a full lockdown then.

Just imagine American President in on a stopover in UK to go to Germany and want to see Boris, only to be told: 'Sorry Mr President, Prime Minister Johnson is unable to see you due to his obesity.'

That won’t help them to lose weight now will it.

Surely they would be better going outdoors in the open getting exercise and fresh air?
