'Employment is rising. Wages are going up. Factories orders are strong, retail sales are increasing, lots of foreign investment is coming into the country, and the stock market is buoyant' | Writes Matthew Lynn

Wages are going up. Factories orders are strong, retail sales are increasing, lots of foreign investment is coming into the country, and the stock market is buoyant. Flicking though the statistics alone, and shutting out all of the other news, you’d never guess the UK was a country in the midst of its worst political and constitutional crisis since the 19th/17th/15th century . The economy sails on more or less regardless of the fact that we seem to have no functioning government.

Crossing company waived penalty but made them pay the crossing for correct reg You got parking fines because you entered a wrong digit. Is there a better example of poor design than a parking ticket machine? I don't think so. Press where? Card where?
