Will the next console be even better? I assume everyone’s going to be talking about Xbox this week, but I just can’t bring myself to join them. It’s all too depressing and while I haven’t owned one since the Xbox 360, you can bet I will never touch one of their consoles again… or probably even their games if they’re multiformat.
If we can avoid that happening again then Nintendo could have a clear run to make even more games, from both new and established franchises. You know they’ll do at least a few brand new games and the thought of new Nintendo IP is always so exciting. And yet, you can’t help thinking what they will do for the new Mario, the new Mario Kart, the new Metroid, and all the rest. But the other big change this time round is that the Switch will be able to run almost all current gen games.
