Nick Knowles admits he pours gravy on his pancakes

shocked viewers after revealing his favourite – very unusual – pancake toppings on Pancake Tuesday.

Comparing the traditionally sweet treat to a Yorkshire pudding, Nick said he lathered his pancakes in gravy whenever he opts to eat them., he left hosts Lauren Laverne and Jermaine Jenas speechless as he explained his strange choice.‘I know it’s a big call – even in America they would think that’s bold – but if you think about it it’s the same recipe for a Yorkshire pudding so it’s only a flat Yorkshire pudding.

‘My eight-year-old this evening is having lemon and sugar and that’s how he likes them,’ Nick continued sharing his household’s take on the traditional day.
