The U.S. economy added 517,000 jobs in January, making CEO worries about a downturn seem paranoid

in December 2022, the government said earlier this week, more than in any of the four previous months.

Many economists cite inflation as the reason to worry about a recession, since the Federal Reserve will increase interest rates to fight inflation, making the cost of borrowing higher. But inflation is also a sign that the economy is pretty strong. Inflation happens, by and large, when too much money is chasing too few goods; in recent months U.S. consumers flush with cash spent so much money that companies couldn’t keep up. The Federal Reserve responded over the last year bysince the 1980s.

🤔

Many of us could not understand the paranoia except as a political ploy right before an election.

Yes. It. Does.

And everything is still going up in price and people have less money to spend. Luckily for Biden his supporters don’t know fact from fiction so they can make whatever claims they want. Even misleading ones like this.

And who has been doing that fear mongering for many months now? ? 🤔

Time is too dumb to realize/report that the 517k jobs don't exist. They are a statistical mirage created to fool the masses.

Same people working for 2 jobs to buy eggs or what?

All those layoffs in IT for nothing.

Thank you POTUS!

Ummmmm.... not

Those that lost jobs get jobs = growth?

What's interesting is all the US media companies tripping over themselves to accommodate rabid right-wing fantasy have lost all of their credibility with the center/center left, the majority of the US
